My name is Richard Telford and I have been involved with horses my whole life, I have been producing horses professionally for over 35 years, both show and event horses.

I have won at most of the UK’s most prestigious horse shows, including HOYS, the Royal International and Royal Windsor. I have broken and produced a wide variety of horses from Mountain and Moorlands to Hacks and Eventers. In addition to Showing, I have also successfully evented up to CCI2*. I regularly compete in British Dressage. I also enjoy Show Jumping and Hunting. I have a passion for training both horses and riders, regularly holding clinics all over the country. I am on several judging panels including the BSHA (*), SHB (*), NPS, The Highland Pony Society and The Arab Horse Society.

My life revolves around horses and after being a member of the BSHA for so long, I feel I want to give something back to the society and its members by being on the Board.
