Magnus is a former International 3 Day Event rider, who competed around Burghley and Badminton, representing GB on numerous occasions. 

Show jumping at Horse of the Year Show and competing in Young Rider dressage, he played polo and held an Amateur Jockey licence.

Magnus first started showing as a child, and spent time learning from professionals such as Peter Richmond and Anne Furness, throughout his teens, before going to compete in other disciplines. 

In the late 1990s, he turned his attention back to showing, and now regularly wins at the BSHA National Championship Show, Royal International Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show. Magnus holds a British Horse Society Instructors qualification, and regularly trains and coaches riders in all disciplines all over the world.
