Further to the Chairman’s recent newsletter, please find attached the Agenda for the BSHA AGM, to be held on Sunday 17th November 2024, at 11.00 am, at the Old Servants Hall, Badminton House, South Gloucestershire, GL9 1DD.
In addition, also attached are the revised Articles of the Association, which we invite you to read in anticipation of a vote to be taken to approve and ratify the proposed changes, during the AGM.
The Board has made the decision to make the updates to the Articles for several reasons, including to reflect what happens in practice, to modernise the way in which the Association is run and to make the process for appointment of directors more efficient and transparent, whilst also making it possible to seek appropriate skills and experience as required, to supplement that of the Board.
