It is with great sadness we write to inform you of the sad passing of BSHA Vice-Chair and Board Member, Mrs Sue Webb.
Sue, a keen hunting enthusiast and lover of drag hunting with the Mid Surrey Farmers Draghounds, was sadly killed in a freak accident, whilst out drag hunting on Saturday.
Sue had served on the Board of the BSHA for over nine years and was also on the Judges Panel for both Hacks, Cobs, Riding Horses and Hunters.
Not only was Sue a Vice-Chair of the Association but over her years of service to the BSHA, she had been heavily involved in assisting fellow Board Member, Mrs Sue Phillips, with the running of the Southern Spring Show, writing Show Reports and assisting with hospitality at the BSHA National Championship Show as well as many other roles; Sue was currently the Association’s Press Officer.
Sue was a keen yachts woman and spent much of her time sailing, something she loved to do when not hunting.
Sue will be sadly missed by her fellow Board Members, friends in the horse and sailing worlds but at this time, our thoughts are with her family.
