Nupafeed Amateur Points Awards - Presentations 2016

For the sixth year, the Nupafeed Supplements Amateur Points Awards, were once again awarded at the AGM in November; Mrs Sheila Noble, Director of Nupafeed UK, was at the 2016 AGM to present the Awards to the well deserving winning Members.

The Overall Points Champion this year went to Avril Bartolomy and Clantara Shadow Play; the partnership had a very successful season, also winning the Open Maxi Cob, Home Produced and National Championship points sections of the Nupafeed Amateur Points Awards. Avril's husband Robin, who collected the awards on her behalf was presented with the Nupafeed Trophy and Nupafeed Saddle Cloth, kindly donated by Nupafeed Supplements and presented at the AGM by Mrs Sheila Noble, Director of Nupafeed UK.

Another successful partnership in the 2016 Amateur Points series was Johanna Foster and her homebred, Scottshall Maximillion. They won the Open Hack, Novice and Owner/Breeder titles as well as taking second and third place respectively in the National Championship and Overall sections; this pairing also won a coveted Tagg La Liga Award for Consistency, in the Large Hacks, at the Horse of the Year Show.

Sophie Carter went one better this year, moving up from second place last year in the Open Riding Horse category, to take the title this year; her sister Hannah, with the family's homebred Riding Horse, The Time Traveller, was third in the Open Riding Horse, second in the Novice, fourth in the Young Rider and third in the Owner/Breeder sections.

Other successful Members included, Lizzie Oseman & Ballyell Turbo, winners of the Open Cob section; Georgina Steele & Colebeach Mark of Distinction, winners of the Young Rider section and Jayne Prior & Vital Spark, winners of the Side Saddle section.

Congratulations must go to all Prize Winners of the Nupafeed Amateur Points Series and special thanks to Nupafeed UK, for generously sponsoring once again in 2016.
