New for 2019

New for 2019

by  |  24 Jul 2019

This year sees the introduction of three new classes at the BSHA National Championship Show (13th -14th September at Addington Equestrian, Bucks) for the Novice/Amateur Rider, which are open to New Members (2019) and Non-Members of the Association; no Membership or Day Ticket is required to enter these classes.

  • Intro Ridden Hunter
  • Intro Hack/Riding Horse
  • Intro Cob

Separate "INTRO" classes for HUNTERS, HACKS/RIDING HORSES and COBS (INCLUDING MAXI COBS), will be held at the BSHA National Championship Show and will follow the format of the Open and Amateur classes. Exhibits will be judged by a Conformation and a Ride Judge, who will ride all exhibits forward for the classes. The top two in each of the three classes will move forward into the "INTRO" Championship, which will be held during the Evening Performance (Evening Dress required), in which many of our prestigious national titles will be won.

The "INTRO CLASSES" are unaffiliated (but run under BSHA Rules), meaning the only fee required to be able to compete in these classes is the entry fee, and are open to all who want to try their hand at showing, alongside the industry's top-flight competitors; Other classes will be available to enter, though some may require a Day Ticket.

For full details please see the BSHA National Championship schedule which can be found at BSHA National Championship Show 2019.
