It is with great sadness that we wish to inform Members that Joan Lewis passed away on Monday 2nd October 2017 after a long illness at the age of 81.

A leading Judge and Course Builder, she will be greatly missed by all her friends in the equestrian world,  she made a significant contribution to showing over the last 60 years.

Joan's funeral will be held on Tuesday 17 October 2017 at 2pm at Crownhill Crematorium, Milton Keynes MK8 OAH in the Oak Chapel. Following Joan's funeral BSPS Area 17 would like to invite everyone for refreshments to celebrate Joan's fabulous equestrian life, (where pictures of her time with horses can be viewed)  at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Bucks, MK18 2JR, (by the kind permission of Mr Tim Price). Addington is approximately 12 miles from the crematorium.

A donation box will available at the Chapel, for cash or cheques, cheques must be made out directly to the charities.
