The Board of the BSHA has been in discussions over the last few days about the current situation with regards to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. We are all having to face some complex and difficult challenges, in these unprecedented times.
First and foremost is the safety of the Members’, Judges and Officials, and as a result, the Association has taken the decision to postpone the two Springs Shows, the BSHA Southern & BSHA Northern Spring Shows, until further notice.
The database and website are being updated on a regular basis with information on which shows are cancelling or postponing; please see www.britishshowhorse.org, “Show Info” > “Show Dates”.
The Association is in discussions with Hickstead and Grandstand Media over qualification and how this may work, going forward, later in the season; information will be circulated, as and when possible.
The BSHA Office currently remains open for business as usual, and we are pleased to report the phones are still being answered between 10:00am and 4:00pm. The staff are now working from a combination of office and home and still able to process Membership and Registrations[KE1] , but we do ask for patience in these difficult times, we are committed to doing our very best to support you all where needed. We are sure you want to be prepared to go, when showing starts again and we are working to be ready for that time.
The Association will continue to monitor and review the situation and update the Members, via its digital platforms as often as possible.
The BSHA sends its very best wishes to the Membership and their families and reminds you all to follow Government Guidelines and stay safe.
