Congratulations to everyone who took part and we look forward to seeing the lucky prize winners at the BSHA AGM where they can collect their awards.

Nupafeed Supplements have generously donated a Nupafeed Trophy to the Overall Points Winner and a Nupafeed Numnah to the BSHA National Championships Points winner.

Anyone not able to attend the BSHA AGM  2019 to receive their award, please send a large SAE to the office; thank you.

Nupafeed Amateur Points Awards - Presentations 2019

Once again the Amateur Points Awards were kindly sponsored by Nupafeed Supplements UK; this is the ninth consecutive year that Nupafeed has sponsored the Awards and our thanks goes to Mrs Sheila Noble, Director of Nupafeed UK, who unfortunately, was not able to attend the 2019 AGM to present the Awards.

The Overall Points Champion for 2019 went to Avril Bartolomy and Clantara Shadow Play, this was their fourth consecutive title, after another very successful season in the series, once again winning the Open Maxi Cob and the Home-Produced points sections of the Nupafeed Amateur Points Awards. Avril’s husband, Robin, was presented with the Nupafeed Trophy for the Overall Points title by the President of the Association, Mr Tim Wiggett. Special thanks must go to Robin for making the six-hour drive from Sussex to collect the awards.

Congratulations must go to Natasha Dolman, who in her first full year of Adult Membership, won four of the points sections; the Novice, Owner/Breeder, Young Rider and Working Show Horse, with her homebred, Parkhall Prince Charming; this combination was also second in the Open Maxi Cob and third in the Home Produced categories. Natasha has enjoyed a successful year with her eleven year old Maxi Cob, with wins at both Staffordshire County and Derbyshire County Show.

The Open Hack section for 2019 was won by Susan Farrow’s Willowlands Rennaisance, ridden by Jade Hawker; this pairing also took fourth place in Home Produced section.

Nicola McConville won the Open Cob title and was second in Home Produced section with her Lightweight Cob, Randalstown Rolex. This duo enjoyed a successful season, winning the Amateur Lightweight Cobs at the Royal International Horse Show, before going on to take the Amateur Cob Championship and then both the Amateur/Owner Rider Lightweight Cobs and Amateur Home Produced titles the BSHA National Championship Show in September.

Another very popular winner, was Emma Gibson, riding her own State of Play, who won the recently introduced Hunter section, with a score of thirty two points.

Leigh Anne McNamee-Sloggett was the winner of this year’s Overall National Championship title, with her Small Hack, Carrhouse Chanel; Leigh Anne was also second in the Open Hack section.

Other successful Members included, Jane Scriven & Oathill Hero, winners of the Open Riding Horse title; Fiona Bebb-Evans & Ballangaras Monterrey, winners of the Side Saddle category and Bryony Lovell-Williams & Broadtown Man in the Mirror, winners of the In-Hand title.

Congratulations must go to all Prize Winners of the Nupafeed Amateur Points Series and special thanks to Nupafeed Supplements UK, for generously sponsoring once again in 2019.
